when two lifelong friends discovered hiphop music for the first time in elementary, they couldn’t have known that the obsession that began then at such a young age, would later determine the direction of their lives. By Jr. High, the duo were writing 24 bar verses, programming drum machines, sampling from Vinyl records, and recording it all onto cassette tapes. Through trial & error as well as investing every dollar they’d earn toward their sound, soon they had fully original music. Perhaps what appeared as another boyhood hobby to outsiders - to them it was monumental. It meant everything.
