The artist known as Who?Sane was born as De’ Shay D. Roberson on September 30th sometime in the late 1900’s. birthed under the sign of Libra in the year of the Dragon. In the depths of the streets of Oakland,Ca that is now known as BABY IRAQ. This is where he was raised with four siblings one being a Oakland Street legend De Shawn Morris or Shawny-Bo. Who was sentence to 25 years to life in the early 90's, And one younger brother Karma, who he spent most of his life with. He was always musically inclined from playing the saxophone and drums to singing, performing and speaking in front of large audiences as a small boy. He started free styling with his older friend who was already in the studio, then he found himself in an pre-production studio in East Oakland on the block they grew up on 94th and Bancroft, him and his younger brother Karma. they called themselves Indosmoke. They recorded their first song named Insane Individuals. He played it for his older friend who then took him to a gentleman who would be the first impact on his career, J Grand. During these times there in his studio is where they recorded their first pre-production album called Contact as well as a many other songs. J Grand took a liking to Who?Sane and started investing time into his development teaching him to use his voice, poise and punctuation. Still recording with J Grand he met Day Dog the Violator and the Foundation which was his first encounter with an Indie record label. Thereafter, Who?Sane started visiting a much larger and professional studio called The Grill. In the later part of 1995 Who?Sane’s life and career would take a drastic turn, he met Brother Moe, who was already an established artist signed to JT The Bigga Figga independent record company and Bay area giant at that time, Get Low productions featuring artist like bay area legend San Quinn. Brother Moe had just recorded his new album You Reap What You Sow which took flight featuring artists like Bay Area legend Askari X
