RA Philly hip hop artist RA Certified started rapping at the age of 13, influenced by lyrical MCs such as Nas, 2Pac and The Lox. RA went by the name of Razor in the beginning of his rap career but changed his name to RA CERTIFIED meaning the official one. RA provides a witty bar delivery with a confident raw demeanor. RA is also a great songwriter and amazing performer. RA has opened up for countless hip hop artist both old school and new school; artist such as DMC, Schoolly D, Freeway, Mickey D, Fearless Four, Naughty by Nature, Gillie Da Kid, Nice & Smooth, Craig G, Fred The Godson, Brand Nubian, Lazy K, Corey Gunz, Lore'l, Mr. Cheeks, Monica Love, Special Ed, Das EFX and many more.I'm currently working on my 3rd solo project titled "The Feature Presentation" is a mixtape with all original music mostly tracks featured or co written by RA Certified the mixtape is due to drop this spring early summer 2015. The mixtapes features such tracks like "Black Father" produced by David Murden which is currently featured on industry HipHop producers Cool and Dre Internet Radio Show (Soundcloud tuesday) after hearing "Black Father" the producers named RA certified the Artist Of The Week in February of 2015 and also offered to tweak the track and put a industry mix on the song, the song will be rereleased during Father's Day with a brand new industry sound abandoned mix. RA Certified is also the executive producer on upcoming films by author Rorie Still, Screne writer/Director Eric and up and coming movie director Donta Fernell. RA is also working on projects with jerome Upchurch of Gudda Films and Bhino Brown of BinoTv, RA is also writing/producing and directing 3 of his own short films all due out 2015.
