Up and coming artist from Bogalusa, Louisiana who has been rapping since the age of 13.. Some of his earliest projects were created with three of his brothers who released two local street CD’s under the name Temple Boyz back in 2005 and 2008. He released his first solo project titled Street Hustler Hood Motivated back in 2010 under the independent label Str8 Shot Entertainment that was started by himself and his brothers. In 2011 he released another project titled My Intuition and in 2013 he dropped the hood certified Emotions of a G which received great review all over the internet. While gaining momentum and regional exposure Russell T experienced a couple of set backs that tried to derail his career but after overcoming life’s challenges in 2017 he emerged as a new man with a new label, new project and stronger hustle. Over due the mixtape hosted by Dj Chill was his first release since 2013. He followed that release up with Prep Work: Before the Game later that same year. His vividly painted picture of his personal struggles as well as the environmental conditions he’s had to endure while coming up in the South are heartfelt and brings awareness to what’s going on throughout Louisiana especially his home town of Bogalusa. He brings a different southern style and flow to the game is reminiscent of the 90’s reality rap. Some of his influences include 2Pac, Master P, Lil Boosie, Soulja Slim and Scarface.
