Daniel “DJ Wrightful” Wright was born December 8th, 1986 in Kingsport,TN. Growing up he was influenced by Dr. Dre , DJ Premier, DJ Drama and other DJs who ran the early 2000’s hip hop scene. After graduating high school, DJ Wrightful enlisted and served in the Marine Corps from 2005-2010. After serving his country, he decided to move to Nashville in 2010 to pursue a better life. He enrolled at The Art Institute Of Tennessee, started engineering & professional DJ in 2010 also. Once he graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts - Audio Production, he got started in radio with a position at 101.1 The Beat in Nashville. He decided to invest in himself in 2015 by founding his own radio station, 615 Radio. During his ascent to the peak of the DJ culture in the south, he’s won multiple awards such SEA Awards in 2016,2018 and in 2019 as Mixtape DJ Of The Year. He was a 2x award winner at the Music City Hip Hop Awards as DJ & Mixtape DJ Of The Year. Currently as an influencer in the Southeast Region, he’s the President of Slept On DJ’s, Co-Owner Of The Hub 615 and is actively booked for jobs including Club DJ, Mixtape DJ, Tour DJ, Studio Engineer and much more.
