Established in 2007 by Mark “Boss” Martinez and Raul “Chino” Gullem, Intense Entertainment (IE512) has had its share of ups and downs, as with many other fledgling companies. But unlike many businesses, IE512 only looked forward, never dwelling on the past, and never letting losses overshadow the bigger picture. In a few years’ time, IE512 has already reached heights not known to many local labels. The success has never been kept within the camp; many other record labels and aspiring artists have gained notoriety through working with IE512. As a record label, IE512’s mission is to create fresh, new music designed to change Texas hip-hop with a diverse sound. Offering opportunities for young talent to excel in their creative outlets is a major issue for IE512 as a publishing company as well. With in-house producer Chino Cochino of The Savants Production Group at the helm, the music really speaks for itself. As an entertainment company, IE512 is garnering recognition as a company known to organize shows and events well.
